The #Perito #Moreno #Glacier located in the Los #Glaciares #National #Park near #Santa #Cruz and El #Calafate is an important tourist #attraction in the Argentine #Patagonia .

The huge glacier periodically advances over #Lago #Argentino forming a natural dam which divides the #lake into two. The water level rises and the pressure breaks the #ice barrier resulting in a spectacular rupture.

Ps. #trekking tours on the ice have gained popularity in recent years.

#TTD-BuenosAires - take a #tango #dance lesson, munch on empanadas and pizza, explore #Recoletta #Cemetery and look for #Evita #Peron's grave or simply chill out and soak up café culture in places like #Palermo

The #Floralis #Genérica in the #United #Nations #Park in #Buenos #Aires is an eye catching #sculpture designed by Eduardo Catalano. The huge 'Generic Flower' opens up during the day and closes at night.

#Patagonia is simply awesome. With the #Glacier #Park and #Monte #Fitz #Roy on the #Argentinian side and the #TorreDelPaine Park in @Chile there is so much for #adventure lovers to do. Spectacular #scenery too.
