There is something for everyone in this multicultural continent, island and country.
With wonderful beaches, the Great Barrier Reef, dry deserts and the Outback, there are numerous opportunities for diving, chilling out and adventure.
Those interested in 'unusual' animals will be fascinated by the kangaroo, koala and the many birds and animals unique to this country.

#PTS-Australia : #Devil's #Marbles Conservation #Reserve is located near #Wauchope , just south of the #Tennant #Creek area of the Northern Territory. Also known as #Karlu Karlu by the #Alyawarre , its gigantic, rounded granite #boulders and #rocks are internationally recognised #icons and symbols of Australia’s #outback . This area is also of great cultural and spiritual significance to local #Aboriginal people. Photo by who is mary jo courtesy Flickr

#Uluru also known as #Ayres #Rock is a #UNESCO #World #Heritage Site sacred to the #Anangu #Aboriginal people. It has some of the most #spectacular #sunsets and takes about 1 to 2 hours to #hike all the way to the top. Image: dincsi (Flickr)

The #people of the #Northern #Beaches in #Sydney tell their story. The beach is a place of peace and relaxation for many. The unique sea #pools were built in the 1930's because of the fear of shark attacks.

#Cloaca or the #poo machine by Wim Delvoye is a digestive machine that turns food into feces, allowing Delvoye to explore the digestive process. At the end of the tract, the machine produces feces which are then vacuum-packed and sold in translucent boxes. The original can be found at the #Museum of Contemporary #Art in #Antwerp and a custom one at the Museum of Old and New Art in #Hobart #Tasmania in @Australia .
