The Kingdom of Denmark is actually made up of several hundred islands.

Although it is the smallest Scandinavian country, visitors to Copenhagen will find numerous museums and world famous attractions like the Tivoli Gardens and the statue of the Little Mermaid.

Lovers of the outdoors will enjoy the outer islands with its peaceful, relaxed countryside atmosphere and can cycle, explore ancient castles or simply relax by the beautiful lakes and forests.

#PTS-Denmark : #Rubjerg #Knude is a #lighthouse located on the North #Sea coast in the #Jutland municipality of #Hjørring .

Lit for the first time in 1900, over time, shifting #sand #dunes and coastal erosion made the lighthouse inaccessible and also impossible for some ships to see the light from the sea.

In 1968 the lighthouse was lit for the last time but it's now a popular tourist destination and a great place for #paragliding .
