This is your chance to see the best heritage of Egypt; the Pyramids, the National Museum, Tahrir Square, the Nile river and the Grand Bazaar.

Take a fantastic trip to do the Great Pyramid, the only wonder of the ancient world still standing on earth. Made up of 2.300.000 stone blocks, the Great Pyramid has a total weight of six million tons. Visit the enigmatic Sphinx, the man-headed lion that has been guarding the pyramids since the third millenium BC. Hewn out of one single block, the Sphinx is 80 meters long, 20 meters high and 12 meters wide. To make your visit to the pyramids full and complete, you have to go across the Sahara desert by means of a camel/carriage. It's a fasicinating experience where you can take the best photos. The view is absolutely gorgeous !!

Proceed to the National Museum and see the best artefacts ever made by the ancient Egyptians. At the museum you should never miss the breath-taking collection of the famous boy-king Tutankamoun. See Tutankaoum's exquisite golden mask with its stunning craftsmanship.

On the way to the National Museum, you will see the famous Tahrir Square where the recent peaceful Revolution took place on 25/01/2011. To make your visit to Cairo complete, take nice, relaxing trip on the Nile downtown Cairo.

At the colourful Grand Bazaar, Khan el-Khalili, you do a bit of haggling, smoke the Egyptian water-pipe and have a refreshing cup of mint tea. Seize the opportunity and get yourself a nice souvenir.

Giza Pyramids

I'm a professional, licensed tour guide based in Cairo, Egypt taking tours since 1991. History and culture are my lifetime passion. I was born and raised literally a few hundred meters from the Pyramids and the Sphinx. I saw them every day. I could n't help developing a sense of history over the years. It's little wonder I'm doing this job.

Taking tours is a challenge in itself as you have to learn how to deliver a great tour making the whole thing sound interesting; so you wouldn't sound like a "tape". You should also make your guests like you. I'm very good at what I do as I know exactly what my guests expect. I always give them all they expect and a BIT MORE. I'm also a people person; I find people interesting. I love to share my culture and knowledge with my guests.

I believe that locals know theit culture better. Through the eyes of a local you experience differently. Egypt is not just the sights; it's much more than that. It's the culture, the people, the sense of humour, the mouth-watering food, the friendliness, the mild weather and much more. In Egypt you come out as a tourist but you leave as a friend.

I offer tailor-made tours which perfectly cover all of Cairo and the surrounding cities and towns. My tours always the interests and bueget of my guests as the tours are quoted PER TOUR not per person. I also do private tours; so you will never be asked to join another tour.

Here are some of the places of interest in Cairo which I cover :
- Saqqara, Memphis and Dahshur
- Islamic, Christian and Jewish Cairo
- Alexandria
- Alamein
- Maidum
- Wadi el-Natroun
- Shopping (Markets and Malls)
