Granny May discovered the ability of this pond, which contains natural gases, to flame and as a result the #pool is now used to provide 'fire' and general #massage .... for up to six people. This bubbling spring is also said to help with poor circulation.

It is really off the beaten path and located at the end of a looping dirt road just outside of the #Runaway #Bay #roundabout in #St.Ann ... about a half hour from #OchoRios .

#PTS-Russia : The #Manpupuner or the Seven Strong Men #Rock Formations are a set of 7 gigantic abnormally shaped stone #pillars located north of the #Ural #mountains in the #Troitsko-Pechorsky District of the #Komi Republic.

These monoliths are around 30 to 42 meters high and jut out of a hilly plateau.

Although it is very hard to reach due to the very harsh environment, visitors will enjoy something unique once they get there.

This #UNESCO #World #Heritage Site owes its fame to its distinct #architecture because the houses are all made out of mud brick and about 500 of them are tower houses, which rise 5 to 11 stories high.

Shibam is often called "the oldest #skyscraper city in the world" or "the #Manhattan of the desert".

The #Perito #Moreno #Glacier located in the Los #Glaciares #National #Park near #Santa #Cruz and El #Calafate is an important tourist #attraction in the Argentine #Patagonia .

The huge glacier periodically advances over #Lago #Argentino forming a natural dam which divides the #lake into two. The water level rises and the pressure breaks the #ice barrier resulting in a spectacular rupture.

Ps. #trekking tours on the ice have gained popularity in recent years.
